Fury of Dracula

Fury of Dracula

If you love Scotland Yard, think of this as being the game that takes that concept to the next level. Dracula leaves a trail of five locations behind him, making it easy to discover his path; but he also leaves traps and creatures behind him as he goes, so the hunters need to prepare for any confrontation.

It’s a bit longer than Scotland Yard, but if you’re a fan of that game, you’ll love this one.

(Side note: The game does not feature a lot of horrific imagery on the components. It is unlikely that a player would be put off by the pictures on the cards.)

Sheriff of Nottingham

Sheriff of Nottingham

We at DNGN LOVE this game! Definitely our pick of the year.

If you like Pit, this game innovates on those mechanisms and does them better. If you’re like me, and despise Pit, you’ll love this game for being a better version of market play.

If you enjoy deception games, like The Resistance, this game is hilarious fun. If you have a difficult time bluffing or being deceptive, no matter; you are just as likely to win if you play honestly and strategically, as those who are trying to sneak a fast one past the sheriff, plus you’ll have the added bonus of laughing at their misfortune.

In short, this game is a hit every time we pull it out. Our pricing, as always, is better than Amazon, so let us know if you’d like to add it to your collection.
